The last time we did a reader’s poll, it was marred in drama and ended up causing numerous people to cry. Well, not really but there were a few sketchy results and coming up with all the nominees was a pain in the ass. After skipping last year, I decided to give it another shot this year but skip all the drama. It’s a blank slate. December 12, 2009 | Viaduct Theater | Chicago: Back in Chicago and back to business. Vice came thru town to host a fantastic Hornitos tequila-fueled event at none other than the Viaduct Theater. US Royalty performed and pretty much amazed everyone in the building. Go find their music! Autobot and Jordan Z also laid down the tunes, along with a drunken-impromptu set from your’s truly to close things out. Check out all the photos here.

December 10, 2009 | Cinema | Miami Beach, Florida: You’re probably never heard of Cinema because a) it just opened and b) it’s in Miami, bitch. Lame LMFAO references aside, my friend Juan aka jjjjjuan who you might remember from his days living in Chicago has just recently re-opened his club in Miami and it’s pretty rad! I was down there for the first three nights he opened and had a bunch of fun. If you’re in the area, be sure to check out Sneak Preview Thursdays. Skyler is playing there this week, and you can check out some photos of last week’s night w/ KeysNKrates, DJ Izzo, Hollywood Holt, Contra, myself & more! Not many photos, tho. I got a little tipsy and focused on dancing instead.

December 9, 2009 | Liv & Purdy Lounge | Miami, Florida: I spent a solid week and some change down in Miami and only took my camera out for a few nights. In my defense, I was down there on a photo job to begin with, so shooting even more photos on top of that did not sound very appealing to me.
